Sara Levinson is a well-known photographer, the “go to” person for Chicago actors and theater companies. Now she has gained new recognition for her photos of Chicago landmarks, Pictures With-A-Peel and Spring Blossoms which are printed on canvas and are strikingly colorful, dramatic and unique. She describes her process as an “experiential” one, a kind of collaboration between the computer and how the camera captures what she sees and how she sees it. Her photos have been displayed in juried shows in and around Chicago and in one-woman shows.
