Art & Gallery
Mission Statement
Morpho Gallery prides itself in seeking talented artists who are on the cusp of being discovered by the mainstream art community.
We invite local artists to exhibit their work in an open, creative, and non-competitive atmosphere where artistic experimentation and development are encouraged. By creating a blank pallette inside the gallery, Morpho gallery offers infinite possibilities for an array of colors, textures, and media to come together.
As members of the Bowmanville community and the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce, we strive to enliven the area around us as active particpants in community affairs and development.
We have a large collection of art for sale from the following local / independent artists:
- Steven Hazard
- Bert Menco
- Sara Levinson
- Elke Claus
- Pablo Perea
- George Muller
- David Sisk
- Elizabeth Ockwell
- Pat Carr
- Ruth G. Sikes

Exhibiting artists at Morpho include Steven Hazard, David Alan Sisk, and Elizabeth Ockwell, all artists that share Morpho’s philosophy of form. Hazard’s painstakingly detailed etchings exemplify fantastical allegories of imagination and industry. David Sisk’s paintings juxtapose amorphous forms with vibrant pigments and Elizabeth Ockwell, a former teacher at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, creates intricate architectural watercolor and etched images of some of the most famous architectural gems worldwide.
